I'm driving an '89 Beck, and recently have been blowing the headlight fuse that is contained within the headlight switchblock. It's not an instant thing, and it doesn't always happen, but when you're cruising along on a dark twisty road, and you lose all of your headlights, it can be just a little disconcerting. I've had to limp home by the light of the turn signal flashers more than once. Any ideas? I'll replace the switch, just for starters. Thanks...........Karl

does it blow when driving and bouncing around or just when you turn the lights on? If driving, then check for a pinched power wire to chassis short somewhere...might be hard to find.

If when turning them on, it could be that the fuse is undersized...do you know what size fuse you have there?
