Had 'em installed in my car, and they work. The ones I have include a medium and high setting. As I have Speedster-style seats, w/ chest belt holes, I was told not possible to install heater in back portion of seat, above the holes. So I have the heater in seat portion only. they work well, although I will say that when things get really cold, the car has a tendancy to stay in the garage ...
I noticed that Rosta now has a W.E.T carbon fiber series available that you can cut the heat panels horizontally and they still work. I too have the slots in my seat backs. I guess the back piece could be cut in a thin strip to go between the slots and be placed vertically there to catch your lower back. WET apparently is their manufacturer and is not implying being applicable for wet weather conditions. I pictured steam coming off the seats when I first read the model name.
