Last Saturday I was in a resturant having breakfast when I saw a guy sitting there that looked like Chuck Beck ( I had seen pictures of him on the internet while investigating his Lister Corvette replica), so I went over and introduced myself, sat down and we talked alittle, then we went to his shop. He was riding in his 550 with his 16 yr old son. At the shop he took me for a ride (putting it mildly) in his Spyder. I guess my first mistake was getting in the car, second mistake not putting on my seat belt(he didn't so I followed suit). Before we got out of the parking lot I was trying to find something to grab on to, with no luck. When we hit the street I was wondering if I was going to make it back. When we got back and I saw the parhing lot I thought "Oh boy" until he slid it in sideways then cut a couple of donuts that had me spitting chunks of rubber out of my mouth, then he cooly pulled it back in its parking space.
Needless to say I was very impressed with his little car, and haven't been able to get it off my mind since. I have been trying to find out everything I can about the Spyder since then (I have almost completely forgot about the Lister), so here I am.
