Good evening all,

I've recently found some interesting bits in, quite literally, the barn of a farm that I own and was hoping to get some assistance identifying. A fair market value would be nice to know as well - afraid I am a Triumph, not a Porsche fellow myself so they'll likely be disposed of.

Oh good, glad the research was pointed in the right direction - any thoughts on fair market value?

The value of those wheels is going to be in finding someone who is doing a resto on a real 356. We're fine with the $70 repros from JBugs, etc. I would think Pelican, Rennlist, and, like Wolfagang says, The Samba would be a good place to advertise.

As for the top, you might try BAT, but from what I understand, they're getting more picky about what they'll list. All the above would be good places, too.

You might try eBay with a good reserve, too. To get any money out of them, you're going to have to find someone who really wants them. I've seen wheels go for $25/ea.  I've also seen late 50's-early 60's date matched sets go for $2,500-$3,000.
