You guys missed the point here. If I had the $80K and was not almost completed with my IM-6 I would buy the car in a heartbeat. If you do the restoration yourself (and I can) you could be done for another $30K.

$110K for a car that could be auctioned for $150K or more.

Sure smells like a deal to me. There are only 4,157 originals out there..........;-)

I would drive that car -- after I added lights and ditched the single bumper guard -- just the way it is.
I would think that doing a little here and a little there would be possible. I don't see any holes in the floor, the nose looks more or less solid, there aren't any pieces missing from the engine ... It looks like a decent enough car overall. Plus the numbers match?
I really think somebody's going to hit a home run with that car.

I wonder if Carey could build me one that looks like that. Hmmm.
