Vintage Motorcars just finished repairing my Speedster after I got hit. Their work is top notch. I have also seen dozens of their cars in person and their work is second to none.

The difference between a Beck and a Vintage Motorcar goes way beyond fit and finish. Beck is a tube based car and VM is a pan based car. Both have excellent fit and finish and use the best parts currently available.

Beck offers Speedsters, Coupes, and Spyders and the wait is approaching 3 years. You have a choice of air-cooled or Subaru powered cars.

VM offers Speedsters, Coupes, and Spyders and their wait is between 2 and 3 years as well. And they also use air-cooled or Subaru power plants. Vintage is also offering an electric Speedster as well. I'm not sure though if the EV power plant will be offered on the coupe or the Spyder.

JPS has great paint but there are other factors in play that you will need to consider. A search on this site will explain those "other factors" to you.

What Robert is saying is that once you read about the experiences people here have reported about JPS and it's (somewhat 'eccentric') owner you may want to shop somewhere else.  If that isn't enough warning, search the site and read.

It speaks volumes that the two builders mentioned actually contribute to this forum.  Those that haven't been mentioned never contribute to this forum.

We aren't singing their praises because we think they are cool people.  We sing their praises because they stand by and are committed to their product; and are willing to help you with issues that arise.

Not so fast there.  Henry of Intermeccanica tried to post here when he had time, but that was rare.  When he did, his posts were always welcomed.

It's unfortunate that Intermeccanica - in the way we knew it - no longer exists, as his cars were the cream of the crop.

You paid a lot, and you got a lot.  You still will, if you look for a used one.

Henry is a great builder and has/had unique products that led the market for years in fit and finish until his venture into the EV took him away.   He did 911 front ends & full 993 wrapped in a speedster body and of course the 911/6.  @& Kubelwagens being in the northern area he served various markets.

The market has a void of his level of offerings without a doubt and especially for northerners.
