I am considering the purchase of a Speedster replica. I found one with wind up windows but don't know the manufacturer for sure. The seller doesn't have any papers or way of knowing either. He thinks it was made by Vintage Speedsters. Which replica makers offered wind up windows as an option?  I thought only Intermeccanica had real windows.

Search here or post pictures - "we" can probably id manf.  Post pictures of interior (dash, seats, door panels, dash eyebrow trim, floor heater vents, gauges (CMC offered "Vintage" brand gauges)), rear engine grill), front hood handle emblem, wheels if wide body (CMC offered spoked gold/chrome wide wheels), bumper brackets and hood hinges.  Of course all they could have been upgraded over the years but there are key manf give-a-ways.

I still have the original CMC id plate that came with my CMC kit.  Suspect all manf had them - just lost or never installed.  I've seen FF and IM id plates too. Shame it isn't moulded into the fiberglass body somewhere.

Even easier with windup window option - I thought I had posted the CMC ad for the option but can't find it now.  I'll rescan and post it.  There is a red one on ebay now with the windup window option. It was an $895 option back in 1990 - had taller windshield and a taller top too.
