I would rather buy a existing car, used or new, but if I can't find what I want, I will be willing to order one.

I live in the Pacific Northwest, so a car located on the Pacific Coast or Intermountain areas would be preferable.

If you have a car to sell or advice to give, I would welcome it.  This car will only be driven in perfect weather on low volume  backroads at moderate speeds.

Thanks in advance for any help.....bart

Chazlink is taking delivery of a Vintage Spyder in just 5 months.  You should really talk to Greg Leach at Vintage.  Owned 2 of his cars.  They are fantastic cars but turn around time was dreadful.  Looks like he has that problem solved.  I think that allowing Seduction to complete some of his cars has reduced the backlog and fixed turn around.  Talk to Greg.  LA is not that far from you.  You could probably drive the car home.

Spyders aren't cheap, no matter where you buy them.  I gotta say though last night I spent over an hour looking at the photos of the Spyders Daniel Verwers is building at Seduction Motorsports and his attention to detail is off the chain. The workmanship appears to be unmatched. My opinion is based off the photos only as I've only see one Spyder in person and that was Anand's which was built by Beck. That car was pretty amazing as well.

SM's handbuilt CNC'd parts are gorgeous and a look should be given to his cars. I just wish I could see photos of his PreA Coupe builds and his Speedsters. I doubt they'd be period correct but gorgeous they'd be I'm sure.

Daniel and Greg work very closely together.  Greg is finishing the Pre-A Coupe.  Pictures are on the Vintage Facebook site.  Daniels Spyders are Vintage Spyders.

Yes, many people don't know that but for those of you that didn't.

ALL of Seduction Motorsports cars are Vintage Spyders built by Greg Leach and assembled by Seduction Motorsports.

if your looking for quality and reliability then go to the source.

Greg has been building cars for quite a few years and again may sometimes take some time but he builds a quality car. And he will be around in the future if you have any problems.

Just for the record, Seduction Does not complete Gregs cars. Greg completes and builds his own cars.

He also builds KIT cars that are sold to Seduction and those are assembled by Seduction and sold as Seduction cars not Vintage cars.

Daniel uses Gregs cars for his builds because Greg makes a nice car.

And yes my car will be completed by Mid January 2016. It was originally planned to be finished between Nov-Dec but Greg and I discussed some option choices that we have now decided to pass on and are continuing the build and finishing by again mid January.

Im very excited and I plan on sharing many pictures when it's done.

If you want a well built car then contact Greg and put your order in.

Bart,

We can build an air cooled Spyder new within that 40K budget and have it done in a 90 day time frame.  You should give me a call so know what you are specifically looking for.  One good thing about a new one is that you get to choose color, interior, and have the car more tailored towards you. As well as knowing you will not get one that will need additional work as you might with a used one.

Let me know if you have any questions.  We can also help you with some advise if you find a used one that you might be interested in.
