I like Beehives

Couldn't stand it any longer, spent a few bucks and got the Hives, little did I know I also like Louvers....
New top and windshield was also in order, so Although it's still
"entry level" and not nearly as nice as most of your tubs, El Diablo can still cruise with the big boys....

David, It is the standard stay-fast canvas stuff that Kirk uses...
I had the cheap naugahyde stuff typical of what FiberFab sold, and it was beginning to frey, so I figured what the hell....
The tub is still a beater, a real 20 footer, but that seems to suit me...
Whoever built this originally cut some corners here and there and it is truly a nightmare for Kirk to work on, compared to his tubs, but we got through it...

Yeah, CMC/Fiberfab's are a bit unique (usually in a good way) and it's nice that the Vintage top fits with only a little messing with it.

I've been a fan of beehives since the Truman administration, I even put them on one of my eletric trikes.

Yeah, nothing says "vintage Speedster" quite like a set of beehives at the back. Too bad they give off so little light, tho. All the more reason to have that third brake light stored up in the hatch grill.
