For Sale: 1959 Porsche 356 Convertible D reproduction by Intermeccanica

This Porsche has an ivory exterior (technically it is "Chiffon White"), Haartz mocha top, and a caramel colored, full-leather interior. It has a peppy 1915cc VW engine, a 4 speed transmission, and repro chrome Fuchs wheels. It has a GORGEOUS Nardi steering wheel, AC (working), power steering, a RetroSound vintage-style but bluetooth equipped stereo. It has ~25k miles and is currently titled in Florida as a 1959 Porsche 356.

In terms of its history:
It was originally built in 1993 for Elliott Drysdale in Orange Village, OH. It made its way to WV in 2010 and Oklahoma City in 2014. I picked it up in 2017, and it has been in Florida for the last year.

When I bought it, it was a gorgeous car, but it needed some work -- both mechanically and cosmetically. In the last year I gave it all new engine gaskets, a head rebuild, a valve adjustment job, a carb tune, new ignition, new distributor, new turn signal switch, new radio, new parking brake, etc. Suffice it to say that this car now drives PERFECTLY!

In terms of any flaws:
-The paint/fiberglass is in really good condition, but isn't 100% perfect. I'd give it a 9 out of 10 -- exceptional condition for its age!
-The fuel gauge doesn't read correctly -- which can probably be said for the vast majority of these cars. It probably just needs a new float in the tank, but I just tended to use the trip odometer as a pseudo-fuel gauge.
-The heater ducts aren't 100% connected right now, but that is an easy fix (did I mention that the car is in Florida!?! There is no need for the heater!)

If purchased new, this car would be $70k - $75k!
I am looking to get $40,000. Price is firm.
