Looking for some advice on the new style top on my IM conv D with zip out window.

Not sure how to fold it to:

1. keep the back glass from getting warped

2. have it set in at the right height

3. make it easy enough for my lady to put it up and down without to much frustration.

Video would be amazing  but an explination and maybe a pic or 2 would be much appreciated.

Thanks all

Always go to the source.  Page 6 has very simple instructions, but follow the advice above re: covering the plastic rear window to keep it from getting scratched, etc.

I had a Convertible D, and don't recall any difficulty in operating the top.  Just be sure the fabric does not get caught in the steel frame when lowering it.

Well, sometimes trial and error is the best way to proceed.  You will soon learn what works and what doesn't.  The Convertible D top has a lot of material and thickness to it, but after a few tries, you will soon develop an approach that keeps you and your lady happy.

Convertible D tops do not have a 'low profile'.  They do stick up a lot when down.  That's the price you pay for a good, warm, weather proof top.  They are a lot like the Karmann Ghia Cabriolet top.

Have a look on the Intermeccanica site, and see how much the top sticks up when lowered.
