Can someone please walk me through the installation of these interior door handles? I got these from Carey and no instructions x I’m assuming you have to drill the mounting plates for the two latch bolts? Also how do you accurately drill the hole in the fiberglass for the handle? I figured there would be a paper pattern and hole predrilled in the bracket.

Not sure what support is in Beck's doors. Here's install in a CMC/FF from their build manual. I used the mechanism from my '71 VW donor with no extra mounting bracket. I even used the metal "arms" to activate.
I took a couple pics to help people that may want to install special edition interior door handles.
Took the handle mechanism off the bracket and mounted the bracket with the two latch bolts. I then marked where to drill the holes. Drilled 2 3/8 holes in the brackets. I then measured the distance, using the opposite side bracket I traced the bracket shape onto the door, measured the center of the bracket square, I drilled a hole.
I left the bracket, mechanism, loose inside the door so I could pull the chain further outside the opening. I connected the chain and crimped it, then I assembled everything inside the door and mounted the handle.
Yeah - Really well done!
