Intermeccanica goes Hollywood

You may recognize my 2006 IM Roadster from the new IM poster currently for sale. Yesterday, this csame car starred in production of two new 30 second TV spots for Pal's Restaurants. These commercials will run in TN, NC, VA & KY

Awesome! Did they say when the ads will be aired? I will definitely keep my eyes open for it!

Here are two more still images from the shoot. The Nardi Wheel was taped to prevent strong reflections on the driver's suit. Perhaps when the spot is released, I will try & upload it to this site.

That's great. I think that is Bill Clinton in the driver's seat! he loves Pal's

The guy driving is Pal Barger, owner of the firm. Seated next to him is Thom Crosby, Business Manager. They are both sitting on packing blankets in order for the camera to see their faces over the windshield. Pal's is a small chain, but they won the prestigious Malcolm Baldridge award in 2001. The only fast food chain ever to do so.

I'm shooting fire elements for my curent project ( Fallen, about fallen angles, out this summer on ABC ). The shot is of me holding one of the prop swords before going back into the stidio and filming some elements.

It looks like my IM will continue to be more famous than me. This summer it is going to be used in another film that I'm working on. It looks like I'll also be able to get my daughter into the project too. Her paycheck goes to the University fund, by my car rental goes into next years upgrades.

Can you say Turbo ? Or maybe just the split Tonneau.

If only you could have pulled out the fire sword when the accident happened... It would have been priceless to see the avenging angel slice off and cauterize the cell holding hand!

The SOC goes Hollywood....What next.....

I saw a nice speedster on Grey's Anatomy last night. We are definitely Hollywood! Now, if we could get them to make a weekly sitcom of Vince's pole dancing .... hmmmm?
