That would be great for the rest of canada, but bad for anyone who wants a new one as the wait time will have to go up. He only builds what, 30 of them a year? Some go to Japan, some to his distributor in England, some to the states, some to BC, and rest of world... thats not a lot to spread around.

James, That leads to a secret, virtual room where we hold clandestine IM owners meetings. You will eventually get the password when you are determined to be worthy.

Actually, I just looked at the site because I don't have the pass word either. I don't see a login area, and would guess that if there is one, it is used by the site guy to make upgrades or additions.

At least that is what I hope it is.....

BTW, nice car.

Dale, thanks for the kind words on the car.. I am loving it more every time I look at it...and I think it loves me back...

The login is on the customer car images area, so I am guessing its to add pics. I think I will ask Henry if I can add my car to that list...as long as I am not in the pics it might not break anyones monitor.

I have spent a lot of time looking at peoples cars and the things they have done to them, and your is particularly interesting to me. I checked under my hub caps and found I have a 4 bolt wheel.. is it hard to get an adapter or new hub to go to 5 bolt? I want to go to the CNC'd aluminum wheels I see on some of these cars.. very sharp. Also, where did you get that luggage rack?

James,
I guess that the login is for the Web dude to modify and add photos. If you want to put some photos of your IM on the site, send Henry a CD with some high res pictures and he will get the CD to Web dude.

I don't know much about adaptors, but they will widen the track of the car and may cause interference between the tires and the inner fender. The BEST way to do this is convert your 4-lug to the wide-5 pattern. Also check with Henry about the required wheel offset. I may be and probably am wrong, but I think that Henry had a special offset spec'e on the wheels on Jim's, Stan's and Brook's car. (there is something in the back of my mind about this....) It may have depended on whether they had the CB or the So-Cal brakes installed.

As for the rack; I was at a Good-Guys car show with the former owner of Mart's IM when one of the spectators came up and started a conversation. I had ordered my car, knew I was going to put a rack on it, but the car had not been completed yet. As the conversation progressed, the spectator said, "I have a rack that came off one of my old cars and it would fit yours"..."How much?" I asked, trying not to sound to excited..."How's 25 bucks sound?" .... SOLD!

You can get repros from NLA. Infact, you should look at NLA's new web site. It has been greatly improved. www.nlaparts.com
