I am not sure but I have one in mine! The car that I own is an early version made by Vintage...

I had to open the hood to access the gas cap each time that I fueled...soo I desided to install a cobra cap by drilling the hood and it provided access to the standard fuel tank cap. I welded a loop on the old cap to be able to grab it.
The cobra cap is not centered as you may see on other cars. It is located on top of the hood's driver side.

It look diferent than the others. I have not see another like it. Lone Star Co sold me the cap and they made the hole about 3.5" in the fiberglass at their shop in Texas. The cobra cap has a treaded flange that screws on the cap boddy inside the hood...that keep the cap in place. Do you want a photo? Alberto from Texas, expomich@yahoo.com.mx
