BHMotors though.  They are notorius for advertising cars they don't actually have for sale.

It says recently completed and "Your chance to own and enjoy a new fully loaded Coupe A replica with no wait time."

They don't do that on all the cars they list on their website that were sold months/years ago. I believe that this one they have in stock.

I contacted the seller on the silver Samba jps. He said it was built in 2000, and he was the second owner. But really offered no other info on the car. Poorly represented, so I have to assume it is another project - which I personally don't have time for.

I think the blue BH car is real. It only recently appeared ( 2 months) unlike the other ones which have been on their site for years. If it were on my coast I would probably check it out. But price seems high.
If anyone was really interested in it, you could Politely email John, and I bet he will straight shoot you the info on the car.

They all are projects... I just passed on a car because I felt the owner was not being completely forthright and I knew that to go over the whole vehicle was going to take some time even if the car was a good used example.   I just felt like a "money pit" or black hole was going to open up...and the owner was still in dream land as to price

Oh wow. That's a big statement.

Caveat Emptor.

Depends if he's in a good mood or bad and how he receives you. It's a crap shoot!

This is true regarding whether or not he'll answer your calls or questions. His mood has nothing to do with his (in)ability to "shoot straight".

Hey guys thanks for the interest in the car. I’m sorry that it seems poorly represented to some. I’m a pretty straight forward guy without a lot to say all the time. I agree these cars are all projects. The silver car does have somethings that could be done to make it better of course. It can use new Carpet, the tin for sealing the engine compartment is poorly done, and of course the paint. I’m willing to work a little on the price. Let me know if anyone is truely interested. Thanks

Rick. Thanks for chiming in. I meant no offense.
Below is a copy of our emails . So you are correct you did answer my questions.
Good luck with the car. It is not for me.

Are you the original owner? Do you know what year it was built? History? Any extra info and photos would be great : disk brakes, clutch, 40 idf webers, vw pan or tube frame, ...
> Thanks.

I’m the second owner, 34 Weber ict’s, I think it was built in early 2000’s by JPS speedsters, disc brakes all the way around, brand new clutch, VW pan.
