@RacerX posted:Get this, I just had the car tuned and the shop told me my carbs were only opening 75%. Wow, it is like a new car again! 🙂
Last year when I did my pedal/fan shroud update, I discovered the same thing. Even worse, when I had mine tuned up two years ago, they DIDN'T discover it.
OTOH, that pales in significance to discovering after driving it home from Chicagoland to NYC that the PO or the tire shop that installed the new tires prior to my purchase put the 4.5" on the driver's side and the 5.5" on the passenger side.
Yeah, tha vague steering and the wandering went away.
Brain... I may be interested in your coupe. AND...I live in San Diego. Sending a PM

Brian.. You are killing me man. Great new video. I'm pretty sure I will take it off your hands.

Brian, I just watched your video, nice job. I saw what you were talking about with what's going on with the paint. If it were me, I would maintain the 'patina' and just prepare the car to be shot with a clear coat. I think it would add to the 'Outlaw' attitude of your coupe. GLWTS. @RacerX @Mike373
That is a great idea Jim!
Brian,
Is this still available?
thanks!
Sean
Just saw your listing. Better late than not at all. Is your 356 still available?
That engine would be perfect for a Puma.
I was thinking the same thing but maybe Jimmy is joining the buying and selling group on the site and has a subie in mind.
It is going in the Puma while the engine that came in the Puma is being rebuilt and enlarged to a 2276. So I will have two nice engines for sale near the end of summer, or possibly only one engine and the other will find a permanent home in the Puma if it feels just right.
Nothing as good as having choices, right, Jimmy? Good luck in your search for the best powerplant.
