Does anyone have a JPS Speedster with the front window defroster vents. How well do they work? Is the fan adequet for defrosting etc. I know JPS has them on his speedsters and was just wondering how well it works. Thanks.... John

I think the best way to describe them would be "west coast defrosters". The defroster tube ID is in the 3/4" neighborhood.

This is weird, but look at some of the computer fans. They are 12 volt and move a lot of air for their size. Some are even rectangular!!! And cheap, like $8 to 12. I'm gonna see how my defrosters and heater work this fall and that's an option I've considered if I need to. But let's face it, this is Texas, I may not need anthing but an armadillo hiss.
Add a booster fan in-line? The new (December) "VW Trends" magazine has an ad for a kit...
