I'm used to seeing these trailers sold with Plymouth Prowlers so this is pretty cool. Not my favorite color but lots to like about this. And evidently Troy sold it previously.

What, no comments here is everyone asleep?
Snerk, what? Sorry, dozed off there. Got to cut down on the number of mai tais for breakfast.
I like the color, nearly. My preference would be just a shade lighter. It looks like a perfectly good speedster with low miles and 14 yo tires. I do not like the wheels a bit.
The trailer is a gimmick as far as I'm concerned. I've never understood the need considering that speedsters are a bit uncomfortable for LONG trips when you might need the space. Maybe if you wanted to bring a pet along.
Anyway, it sold at $38,750 and is headed to Dubai.
Just what you need to bring the bbq, the awning, the lawn chairs, and the tent to Hershey!
I wonder if a keg would fit?

Seems like a good place for it.

Yes the trailer can be seen as a bit gimmicky but motorcycles pull the all the time for touring with a tent, cooler etc.
And considering the number of Speedsters that head to cars and coffee to be noticed, why not? It was pretty much thrown in for free at that auction anyways.
Same idea, similar wheels and 10 years apart, this one came to Carlisle a few times. It was heavy - Weighed around 600 lbs but cute as a button.
Gordon - That's my black 4Runner in back ground towing Shu's red MGTD to Carlisle. I remember the rain - of course, that could be most years! I too admired that trailer! Making a mold of it would be a great money-maker for a retired guy. Builder spent hours on it, I'm sure. Northern Tools has an aluminum lightweight small trailer that would be ideal to cut the trailer's weight.
I think a Mazda Miata (I have a '16 ND) has less storage than a Speedster. I have seen some similar Miata trailers but harder to do as they are steel/aluminum - so more difficult to sculpt. Most are just cut-off rear portions so no nice aerodynamic front end.
I was wondering how it opened. Also how it could possibly weigh 600 pounds—was it made out of bar stock? Tungsten, maybe? My boat trailer weighed maybe 200—250, and it was 18 feet long and carried a 1200-pound boat.
My aluminum flatbed is 14 ft long, 7 ft wide, has a tilt bed and ramps, and weighs 750 lbs. I was looking at a Stealth all aluminum, 22 ft x 8-1/2 ft, double axle, enclosed car hauler that weighs 2550 lbs.
I’m thinking that little thing must have been made out of lead.
Perhaps in CMC tradition - the fiberglass is 3/4" thick? Using an engine grill to access an ice cooler would have been a great addition.
