Resurrecting an old thread…

Just noticed these guys are advertising heavily and have everything in stock currently.

Does anyone happen to have direct experience with their bodies/chassis’s?

If so, would you be willing to provide insights, opinions, experiences, etc?

I’ve never done a build myself, but thought this might make for a cool project that can be done over a longer timeframe.

I think you are buy a la carte vs a packaged kit.  Buy body and frame/sub frame separately.  Then source windshield, seats, chrome stuff separately.  Do a spread sheet as I'm sure costs add up quickly.  Might be better off buying used/unfinished kit.  The manual that Kitmann has on their site is the old FF/CMC build manual so not sure how accurate it is for their specific parts.  Know someone had great difficulty mounting the doors with the Honda hinges supplied.

@Primm907 It all depends on how "handy" you are. If you've never built one, a Kitman may not be for you. There is a lot of fabrication and figuring things out you'll have to do, compared to buying a whole car.

I'd look at myself and seriously evaluate your skills and your end goals. A full scratch build is a lot to take on. I'm not saying you can't do it if you have the desire.
