Sad news indeed. RIP Larry.
Very, very sad. I knew Larry online only, he joined Spyderclub.com not long after I did, and had a Beck Spyder for a while.
After he sold his car, he continued to work on the cars for a bunch of owners, doing repairs, tuning, and upgrades for reasonable fees.
Then he also took on administrator of the spyderclub site.
I had many, many interactions with him over the years. He will be missed, and it's a large hole to fill. So sad,I have nothing but respect for him and his family.
Yes, so sad. Nice guy, we used to talk since he was the admin of spyderclub

Larry took over as administrator of the Spyderclub site from the founder and my friend, Bruce LeDoux. I've passed that page of the Spyderclub on to Bruce so he'll know (Bruce hasn't been involved with Spyders for almost 20 years. now).
Sad day, indeed, and thanks for posting.
I thought Larry founded Spyder Club. He will be missed.
YIKES! Such sad news about Larry!
May his soul Rest In Peace!
Larry was such a great VW mechanic that I once drove my car 250 miles to his home just to have him adjust my carbs and linkage.
I’m sad to hear that cancer has taken another life. I’ll be thinking about Larry and his family and loved ones tomorrow during our PurpleStride 5K walk/run. It is actually an event to raise cancer awareness and generate funds to develop effective therapeutics to treat cancer that could lead to better outcomes for cancer patients. One day there will be a cure.
The only way a cure for cancer will be allowed is if more money can be made to cure it than to treat it the way they do now. Follow the money.
