I had my 69 BSA insured with Hagerty, bought a 74 Norton and then they got real picky on my garage,,BSA OK Norton No ,so i dropped them and went with Geico I live on acreage in N. Ca, private road,few neighbors, dogs let me know if someones coming,protected by Colt 1911, i  most timesdont even lock the house or vehicles

had nothing but good results from Grundy on my cars, but they dont insure just motorcycles:{

I've used J.C. Taylor since the 1970's. You had to have 3 classic vehicles to qualify. Rates have always been reasonable. Last invoice for a years coverage; the Spyder and 3 classic motorcycles valued at $49k was $474. I should have been able to delete the Spyder and add the Speedster for $73, but because it is titled as a VW and not a Porsche replica it is considered as modified and will cost an additional $203. Total premium $677

Company:  Geico Collector Insurance (Underwritten by: American Modern)

Limits;  Bodily injury, $250k/person, $500k per accident (same for accidents by uninsured or underinsured motorists.)

Guranteed value, $50,000

Premium: $488.00.  (I do have a ticket from 5/16 that effected the rate).

I had to have my car towed twice with zero issues. I had Hagerty on my previous speedster and this is cheaper even with the higher value and moving violation.

Company: State Farm

Limits;  Bodily injury, $300k per accident, uninsured motorists $300k, Towing: Yes

Guaranteed value, $25,000

Collision Deductible: $1,000

Restrictions, Pleasure only, (no daily driver)

Premium, $284 per year

It's cheap, but it used to be much less expensive. My premiums went up 14% in 2016 for no reason and in 2017 they went up another 20%, again, for no reason.

My Broker's comment when I asked about these increases was...."Yes, I hate to say it, but our antique/classic rates have had two rate increases and vehicles valued over $20,000 was our biggest hit".
