Im looking for a silver, black or seal grey speedster. Recent builds...2007 and newer. I know its probably going to be hard to find since once you own one, its hard to give up, but Im just hoping I get lucky. I will probably end up building one very soon if I don't get any responses. I like the look of the flared panels as well. Would like to stay under $25K. Any info from any of you would be greatly appreciated.

Ive looked at all the classifieds. If you read my post...again...most of them dont fit that description. I agree, there are alot of great cars out there, but Im wanting something on the newer side and in certain colors. So in answering your response...yes...I have been reading the threads
Age means very little with these tubs, it's how they were cared for, and most on the SOC baby the $hit out of their cars..
I think you should take a hard look at Leaders car..mucho bang for the buck, he even has the balls to put the price in his post...

No hard feelings Dale, but you seem to be skirting my question concerning price....We know how great the car is, but we gots to know what it will take...
I agree with all that was said above about used cars being sorted. Since these are pretty much custom made in small volumes, there is little automation and you WILL have some issues that need sorting. Since I was new to these types of cars it took me a couple of years before I felt that the sorting issues were resolved. Some folks can solve them in weeks. That said, it's really fun to be able to spec out your car from the builder.

If you keep to your budget of $25k, Vintage may be the only manufacturer that can meet that price for a new car. Don't let that be a concern since many of the folks on this site think the world of Kirk and Mary Duncan and their product. Many many miles of fun motoring are hard to argue with. If you go used for that price, you can usually get a higher spec car, Vintage or otherwise.

Regardless, you WILL have fun.
Hi Jayson,

Sent you a note but thought I'd post here too. I have a recently restored Silver classic style originally built by Vintage Speedsters. It is listed on this site at: https://www.speedsterowners.com/forum/readmsg.asp?t=18533

Lots of pictures and info on www.trenteubanks.com

Shoot me an email if you are are interested or have questions.
Thanks,
Trent E.
You guys flatter me. I just love these art projects on wheels. I'm don't paint well and I'm no sculptor so putting all the pieces of someone else's genius-inspired automotive art is about all I can hope for as my contribution to the art-world.

I've had a couple lookers on this one but nobody has gotten serious yet. If any body gets interested and would like to make an offer, I'll be glad to listen.

Somebody is missing out on relaxing evening drives in the cool Spring air.... and in danger of missing their local Summer cruise-ins in this little beauty. :)

Thanks Guys!
