I thought I had a problem with my dry pac coil I’ve herd they had some problems but

it turned out to be something else. Had a short in my reverse light.  But the guy who built my motor sent me a new coil anyway.hope you get it figured out electrical issues

can be a Bitch to figure out

Sounds like your fuel pump shorted and took the relay with it.

I’m surprised that the fuse didn’t blow and protect said pump and relay.  There is something fundamentally wrong going on in there.

Check back on the 12V wire feeding the relay and then the pump to make sure it is a fused feed and has the proper current fuse in there (no more than 15 amps).  I can see maybe the pump seizing and going into over-current and putting a huge load on the relay, but the fuse should have protected the relay at least.
