MIrror placement

I'm about to take delivery on a set of Raydyot mirrors for my Spyder. Can anyone post a photo/info that gives the proper placement of the mirrors on the fender? Or is it just set to personal preference?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks...I found several side view digital images, downloaded them and then "zoomed" them until I was able to extrapolate measurements by comparing mirror placement to the "Spyder" script on the fender. The mirrors are in place and are a welcome addition to the postage stamp sized mirror that the car was equipped with.

Here ya' go Mike. I also "de-badged" it, leaving only the "Spyder" script. Filled the holes for the Beck and Wendler badges and spot painted them. It's not perfect but it passes the "5/5 Test" (Can't be seen at 5 feet when the car rolls by at 5 MPH).

Looks good Terry, I like those mirrors. I really can't even see out of the one I have that's fender mounted on the car. The new one I mounted center dash works well....

The great thing about the Raydyots are that they are the concave racing type mirrors that give a much wider field of vision that standard flat mirrors making it much easier to adjust the mirrors to cover the widest field possible. Of course, that means that you have to remember that the concavity causes things to appear to be further back that they really are, but it's not a big deal.

They really do make a big difference in rear vision and the vintage look of the mirrors (Brushed aluminum on black pedestal) is a nice addition to the car.

Looks good, Terry.I don't know why, but I can actually see out of my fender mount on my Vintage, rear edge in line with top of hood cut line.
