Gerd, I've seen your skinny a$$, you need all the food you can eat, I on the other hand have another idea....Teri will not be eating, regardless of what they serve (she suggested only paying for one dinner, but after you busted Dusty's balls so bad, I was afraid to say one word) So that being said, I am of the belief that there will be more than enough food.....and....David and Lily, you guys have got to make this trip, so let me know what it is going to take....

I have to make a comment here. . . if you have not purchased a ticket you are considered a party crasher. I really don't want to be so arbitrary but please be considerate of everyone. The ticket pays for much more than the amount of food consumed. Everyone who has paid for a ticket is paying for the room, service, facilities, etc, etc. As MUSBJIM pointed out earlier, coming without paying is like going to a potluck supper and bringing nothing. It is just taking advantage of the others and is not fair. Even if one or two approve that does not mean it is OK with everyone. I would like all SOCers to come to the banquet, too, but warning of the deadline has been given for 5 months! I have already paid in full for all 66 who have purchased tickets and arrangements have been cemented.

IF I can find a way to make a last minute change with the management I will do it and make that known. If not, I ask that you accept the rules and conduct yourselves accordingly.

Son of a bitch! I don't want to be the one responsible for stirring this up. Dusty is absolutely correct I read the emails about the deadline and just procrastinated and then forgot about it and didn't log on to the site for several weeks. MY OWN FAULT!!!

Dusty has to do it this way or there would be 50 other procrastinators like me and it would be impossible to make the event a success.

Dusty is the glue that holds this event together and the reason it is such a success. I'm sure there are not many others amoung us who would be willing to make the effort.

I've been on call all week for jury duty and not called until tomorrow Thursday. This is to the Long Beach Court House with the LB Gran Prix starting festivities also! You would have had to have seen what a traffic nightmare this causes to appreciate how sublime this will be.
If the rope noose I will be carrying (sharp objects are not allowed) doesn't get me off I may have 2 tickets available.
