MORRO BAY -- April 24-26, 2009

OK, Spyder-folk, everything is finally settled for this year's Gathering at Morro Bay, CA. I hope you make it a point to join us. Last year we only had FIVE Spyders there. I hope to see double that this year. Here is the schedule:

California Gathering Schedule

FRIDAY [April 24]
Arrive and check-in
1:00 pm - 2 hour back road winery tour
Leader = Blake & Jen Leong
3:30 pm - relax at hotel; shop down town
6:30 pm - meet at Great American Fish Company (order and pay individually)
SATURDAY [April 25]
9:00 to 10:00 - show cars at staging point (by Power Plant) & watch kite demonstrations
10:00 to 11:00 drive cars in town Parade (bring wrapped candy to distribute
along parade route). Regroup at Power Plant parking lot.
12:30 pm - drive to Cambria [lunch at 1:30 and see town]
Leader = Jim & Ginny Ignacio
5:00 pm - relax at hotel; socialize at pubs
6:30 pm - Dinner at Embarcadero Grill (upstairs) - ($25.79 includes dessert and
gratuity - cash bar) plus member

update - this is a great weekend - hopefully we'll have a good contingent of Spyders there!

also, the deadline for booking the Blue Sail Inn is 3/15 - but I think I read that they may be out of rooms already - you may need to book nearby....RickJ

Speedster Folks,
We are getting close to Morro Bay time and I don't want any of you excluded because you let the time go by! the hotel is fully booked but there are many hotels close and all within walking distance. We have Parades, shows, tours, wineries, lunches, dinners and sightseeing planned with qualifited leaders for each. This will be a full weekend of fun and lots of things planned for the ladies (including shopping at great little shops).

If you want to come to the Banquet be sure to send me you reservation check NO LATER THAN APRIL 8 (the information is in the above posting)

Come join us. You will NOT be disappointed.

Thanks for you help with promoting our Gathering in MORRO BAY! This year (2010) is going to be the best you have ever imagined. We have new tours, meals, shopping, banquet, gifts ... OMG!! this will be fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on, Spyders, join us for fun, food and fellowship. See you there.
