Dale,

I have Fuchs wheel packing down to a fine art. Two boxes some special thick honeycomb sheet and a few foam peanuts. It costs with new boxes about $100 to Henry's door.

Bring them over and I can do it for you. I have a UPS account so I do everything on-line.

Mickey,

It does sound very nice. The M&K muffler and SSI's as you well know set you back a bit but the quality is amazing and the sound is truly music.

Mickey - many moons ago I had a '68 911S with the engine blue-printed to '70 2.2 911S specs. With a sport muffler, removed the air-cleaner and fitted 3" velocity stacks, that was the BADDEST sounding 911 on the block!

I can imagine the satisfaction your new set-up gives you! Kinda makes you wanna drive around town at 4,500rpm ALL THE TIME!!

Dave - your 911 IM makes me drool every time I see those pics! One of these days...
Kelly,

15x6 fronts and 15x7 rears. They are built to 68 911R Fuchs spacing for the rear and "Deep or Flat" Fuchs for the front as per Henry's instructions. Yokohama S.drive 195/50 fronts and 205/50 rears. The S.drives have 7 inches of rubber on the ground in the fronts and 7.4 for the rears. If the car is a bit harsh in ride because of the 50 series tires I have a plan in the works for a secondary set of wheels.

"El Guapo",

I'll make sure to have a towel handy when you see the car.....;-)
Jim,

You know a bib might work......;-)

Update!!!

Henry called today at 1:50 PDT to say he loves the sound and the way the motor runs. Henry loved the fact I had it run in, setup and ready to go on the dyno. Henry said the idle was perfect and they did not need to change a thing. They got it up to operating temprature and purged all the oil lines and coolers. I love it when a plan comes together!

This dream is truly becoming reality soon!
Hey Dave, nice wheels!
The rear offset is near perfect for my car. :-)
If my IM is ready before yours I'M STEALING YOUR WHEELS!
Looks awesome, Dave. I can't believe how nice that flat six looks in your engine bay. Maybe I should drive in and do the 'break-in' on your car....or should I say extended 'break-in'? I could put a few thousand miles on your car and work out all the kinks. Maybe Henry could hire me as the 'kink worker-outer'. I'd work cheap!
Lane,

Thanks for the kind words...

Angela,

Gorgeous and it's not Black! That is truly high praise.

Kelly,

Fog? Those are driving lights. Fog lights are yellow......;-)

Lane,

Red cars make the tail lights disapear. I worry about getting rear ended. I do however appreciate you kind offer to help.

Felix,

235HP and 225Ft/lbs torque with Webbers versus CIS injection. I hope Howard can keep up.....:-0

Howard,

You are correct. Truly nothing sounds like a Porsche Flat Six. No radio required. Heated seats you bet.......;-)

To the rest of you guys and gals this has truly been fun. 10 days and a wake up and I get to drive my new ride!
