I was diagnosing my 'burned out' fog light and discovered the 'fast-on' tab cast into the H3 bulb adapter had snapped off. I removed the adapter (bent up 3 small tabs on the reflector to release the part) and fabricated a new tab from a crimp on connector. All was good until I tried to silver solder the parts together. The H3 adapter is made of 'pot' metal and it melted w/o soldering to the tab! So now the part is nasty looking, perhaps salvageable, perhaps not, and I still have no connection to it.

Anyone have a spare or know where to get one? Any suggestions on fixing these beasts? the design is prone to breakage and having to purchase a new light in total just to get one seems wrong.
