Laying under the back of the speedster using a heavy 8" C' clamp to position the rear bumper brackets before drilling . The C 'clamp decided to part ways with the bracket smacking my eye brow  Damn that smarted !  Blood ran like a poked pig  in seconds completely filling my eye & down my face dripping everywhere. %$*^ that look like all hell broke loose...Cleaned to see a minor 1/4" hole ,  Band Aid and back to work this dumb ass  goes :~)

Best car related thing I ever bought was a $2700.00 car lift. Once I had it I wondered why I waited so long to get something so helpful. The hours I spent laying on a creeper on my back under a multitude of car projects cursing as rust and dirt fell onto my face and into my eyes. Cracking my head on low hanging parts of the cars and dropping wrenches that bounced off my forehead, nose and teeth. Best investment in my  car hobby enjoyment I ever made or will ever make.

I'm with Jimmy V.  I bought a demo unit at SEMA about 10 years ago.  Just as Jimmy says, best car related thing ever. Mine is a Direct Lift unit.  Was $2,500 landed on my driveway.  I have a standard 2 car garage.  I can put a car on the lift and one under it and although tight vertically, fit 3 cars into a 2 car garage.  The cars have to be low (Speedster & Viper).

Lifts make wrenching & servicing easier and more fun.
