I am building a library of images that can be used to show future customers of IM what different options and custom details look like. The idea is to make it easier for them to visualize what their car would look like configured in a certain way. This was the msost fun but in some ways most difficult part of the process for me.

Specifically I am looking for :

a) double louvered engine deck lids
b) Speedster seats
c) Seats other than Speedster and Roadster seats
d) Over-rider bumpers with fog lights
e) Hand Brakes ( "t" style - I'm not so sure about this one... )
f) Non- Lietz luggage racks
g) gas tanks, centre front truck caps, anything really.
h) engines
i) white wall tires

j) whatever crazy options Henry built custom for you.

Look at the attached image to see the angles I shot everything from. Ideally you shoot from the same angle so it is easiest for potential clients to see the differences between options.

Please include a brief description of what we are looking at and what is special about it. Do not mention the cost, I'd rather not know, some of you guys are crazy.

John, I can make/send you some pictures of the seats, T-style hand brake, Reutter luggage rack and engine of my car. Besides that the former owner of my car mounted Lucas fog and driving lights. The mesh wire stone guards and bonnet straps were added by myself.

Here two links to an admiring comment on the engine by 912 specialist Dave Hillman (R.I.P.)

Hey all,

Check out the IM options site so far. I am not finished ( painting out some license plates and getting more specific details about the engines ) but it is coming together.

I do need some help labeling and detailing the engines, everything else is pretty straight. If any keen IM owner goes to the site ( link below ) and jots down a correction or two for me that would be very helpful.

Thanks to Mart for sending in some pictures for the site. They are not in the site yet, but they will be shortly.

If anyone else has some pictures of options I am missing please send them to "johnnylaptop@gmail.com" Make them at least 1000 pixels across as that is the size I am building the detailed shots at.

Thanks again.

yes you are right - I'll look for those options.

I agree that part of the site should explain the historical patterns, like the way the shine up and shine down lights are on certain models, and model years, and are paired with certain tail lights.

This can be one of the those all consuming projects, too bad I have several of them going on.
