I took a couple pics of this unit the other day. Looked pretty cool ! It's similar to the one made by Cool Rides but perhaps more versatile and adjustable. Also it looks like there's clearance for the pedal assemblies and hydraulic cylinders for the clutch and brakes.  I think it's made in Brazil.  The R&P box looks to be a VW Rabbit or Golf. Anyone seen these before ?.......Bruce

I think Carey of Special Edition the Beck guys may have tested this suspension in the past. I know when I chose the Red 9 Design front suspension assembly for my Magnum project, He mentioned testing it in the past and some others for possible use on the cars they build. In the end he decided to build his own suspensions in house. If you haven't seen the Red 9 Design suspension which comes out of the Netherlands in the posts, I have made about my Magnum Suby conversion, here are a few pics. It is a direct bolt in replacement for the VW type 1 H beam front suspension and steering box. I am looking forward to having rack and pinion steering in the Magnum and hope the double wishbone design adds to the already good handling of this unique car. I needed a new steering box for the VW H beam suspension the car was built with and decided to go with an entire new front suspension to get the rack and pinion steering it included. The unit wasn't cheap nor was the shipping from the Netherlands to the USA.  The silver powder coated units pictured are for right hand drive. They build the to order for either right- or left-hand drive. My unit is the black one shown with the left hand drive. It was built and shipped to Special Edition last year. I also had a Pro Suby transaxle with Quaife TBD built by Rancho and sent to them last year as well. They are currently working on my Magnum starting this week I am told. I have a thread covering the progress of the conversion on this site. Sorry for those who know all of this already. Please forgive my excitement about this project, for me most of the fun is in the journey, although I also love driving the finished product as well. Cheers!
