Hello everyone. I have just purchased my first Speedster and am loving it! Bought it a few weeks ago and have been surfing the site for all the good information you guys have here, thank you. Not new to cars as I am a parts manufacturer by day and car junkie by night.

I'm looking forward to contributing here so I will post some pics as soon as I get them re-sized and uploaded. Since purchased I have done a quickie flat black paint job, freshened up the interior a bit, re-drilled rotors for the new wheels and tires and few more things to get it on the road since it had been sitting for years. Much more to go!

The car is a CMC widebody built on a '69 chassis. It was built originally by the Coates brothers in 1982 as a display vehicle for their business (VW repair). They used it for ten years and then sold it to the guy I bought it from. He never drove it and it sat in an airplane hangar for the last twenty years unused. At least that is the story I got.

I live in NE Georgia.
