New S/S merged exhaust systems

Paul Hamilton at the VW Speed Shop in England builds very nice S/S merged exhaust systems (without heater boxes), and CB Performance will be distributing them in the USA. CB Perf. hasn't received the shipment yet (I got an email from Paul); I think they may have 1 1/2", 1 5/8', and 1 3/4' systems (1 3/4 does not clear the thermostat). don't know price...

What makes these headers so special...compared to..lets say..Bugpack, Kymco etc. My Bugpack merged header I just purchased is heavy (meaning nice and thick steel tubing) and the flanges are also very thick. Some of the other headers I looked at very light, as in thin walled, and the flanges were paper thin, which is a warp just waiting to happen.

Paul builds QUALITY products; the tubing is not thin and flanges are thick enough. The advantage to S/S is that they will never, ever rust/corrode through, even in a salt-air or road-salt environment. Ceramic coated systems are very nice (There's one on my 2,110) but QUALITY ceramic coating is expensive when properly done, and it can scratch or abade through.
