White interior with navy blue piping. Vintage Speedsters body with 911 style flared fenders on 1967 VW Beetle Pan. 2187cc Scat "Zero Mile" long block with 2,294 miles on the odometer since new. Dual 94mm Weber Carburetors. "Freeway flyer" 3.88 VW transmission. Braided stainless steel fuel lines with AN fittings throughout. Custom sidewinder exhaust with Magnaflow muffler. Hidden Audio stereo system with remote control. Billet cup holders, switches, door handles and gauge surround. Too many other custom touches to list. Pictures are true to its condition. Stacks of local car show awards and even a couple of "Best in Shows."

image1156image1228image1291image1334image1358image1377Yes, Vintage made two versions the mild flare, which is the one Rod is selling in the pictures at the top of this thread and the Super Widebody, which is the one they sold the most.  There's a pretty significant difference, but it's very common that people don't notice the difference.  It's also very common that people don't notice the difference between CMC flared cars and Vintage flared cars. 

It's unclear if the new Vintage Speedsters owner is still building any flared versions.

Here are a few pictures of my old Vintage Super Widebody for comparison.

MotoCarlo, no, not doing another Speedster. Have a partially finished Sebring MX project. A Classic Roadsters kit based on an Austin Healey 3000. Probably going to sell it, too, if anyone is interested. Has a 350 Chevy and TH350 trans. Just out of time to put into them.
