Not Mine But Great Deal

I thought this looked like a very good deal as well. Shipping from Hawaii isn't that big a deal. I had a car shipped from Maui to Indiana a few years ago and it went smooth and didn't cost as much as I feared. I think it was $1500-1600.00 including the boat ride to the coast and then a car carrier to me in Southern Indiana almost back home to where the car was built in the case of this Speedster. I would negotiate having the seller pay to have the car transported to the mainland where a car transport company or if you live in California you can pick up the car. The pics below are of the V8 VW Super Beetle/Corvette Custom I bought from Maui. The car was built by a guy that built 3 or 4 of these and this was the last and best one. The car is built using an 87 Corvette with the engine trans and suspension mounted to a custom fabricated Frame merged with a 71 Super Beetle body, The car was amazing, the donor corvette engine was tired so a 400HP ZZ4 crate engine was installed using a modified version of the TPI fuel injection. The car had A/C, power windows and the 6 way power seats from the corvette. The car was amazing and you could drive it coast to coast without a problem. The guy I sold it too flew in from Florida and drove it home.

Imagine getting blown away by a Beetle off the line 

The V8 Beetle ran mid 12's with performance street tires. It was an excellent bracket racer. I won a every time I entered. My reaction times are very fast and the car was dead nuts repeatable run to run.
