I'm comtemplating a summer trip across part of the "Good Old USA" where 93 octane gas might not always be available.

I've seen several references to "octane boosters" and was wondering what the best type/brand might be. I'm not familiar with this subject, or the compounds used.

Would carrying my own supply be worth while, or is the amount neccessary for 2 or 3 tanks full of a sizable nature?

If it makes a difference, 87 octane would be worst case.....
The engine, however, is a Pat Downs 1915cc. high test critter.

All help appreciated.......

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.....
