It looks like a mix close to sand colour with orange but I have seen one exactly like it in the flesh when I was like 16-17 in my home town there were no others in the city. Kind of got me looking, rather dreaming of the brand after that.
Here's a few of mine. I sometimes wish I still had it. Especially when I go to a cars n coffee on an early Saturday morning. Just cruising down the road with a Starbucks and an apple fritter. We all have some beautiful, head turning cars ! .........Bruce

@DannyP posted:@awotton What's it like driving LHD over there? Get a lot of double-takes I'll bet.
Your right @DannyP. I think the car catches the eye first (not too many around here...like everywhere I suppose) and then they realise there's no one in the "drivers seat". I just love the smiles it puts on peoples faces.
Taking a left hand turn at speed is pretty fun. You get a good look at the kerb and can get real close.

Thanks @Troy Sloan,
No post-processing (or Apps) at all. Most were taken in a nice light (early morning/late afternoon) on either my wife's Samsung or my iPhone. The phones will likely have some auto-correction built-in but that would be it.
Glad you enjoyed the photos. Mostly my wife's work.
Kind regards, Tony
That's amazing, especially on the one with the sun setting in the background. Nice work.
BTW, this photo?
Is my car parked at the Penn Center on St. Helena Island, SC. It was founded in 1862 as the Penn School for freed slaves and their descendants. During the 1960’s it was frequently used by the staff of Dr. Martin Luther King to regroup and develop plans to move the Equal Rights effort forward. It is where Dr. King wrote his “I have a dream” speech before his untimely assassination. It is now on the list of National Historic Landmarks in America. There are other buildings on the site, including, among the beautiful grounds and other buildings, a community hall and a beautiful chapel.

Doing it right, @ZFNHSN! Lovely shots! Thanks for sharing them with us.
Wow, I'll second that! Fantastic shots @ZFNHSN.
Being east coast Australia we don't get to see many sunsets over the ocean.
3rd one is awesome!
These cars cannot take a bad picture. So many great shots in this thread that I wanted to share my own. Picked her up this past weekend from VMC and I can’t get enough of her. What a dream!
Thank you to Greg and crew at VMC for the great experience! Now, does anyone know a person that puts on P* badging in the la area?

Congratulations @BETTYLU356Speedster!
PS - Don’t get rid of Greg’s “Vintage California” hood emblem! It captures the Speedster vibe so well.

Oh for sure that’s staying 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼... just wanting to add badging, not replace.

These cars are meant to be driven, Bob- get out and drive, just for the joy of driving! Shows and Cars/coffees are fine, but that's really not what these cars are about.

Instead of trying to make it something it isn't (remember- it will never have a P vin#), celebrate what it is, which is 1 of the most fun driving cars on the planet! Re-read what I wrote to Bob and then get out and drive!
Yoda out (for now- time to go back to bed it is but don't worry, be back later I will!)
Nice! Hey if you need tires I recommend the Coker Classic Wide Whitewalls, they add to what makes an excellent picture every time.

@dlearl476 posted:I tried to go that route, but UT DMV has a law that you have to have both plates in order to register them in your name. Single plates go for $10-$75. Pairs go for ten times that.
In the end, I bought a single 55 plate to get the font right, then had a place that made replica plates for tv/movie cars* make me a replica of a 55 plate with the personalized plate registration I got in vintage vehicle plate.
* Apparently, that place us defunct. Their website license plates.tv doesn't open.
Beautiful plate!
And www.licenseplates.tv is alive and well -- just checked it. I picked up my 1956 Arizona plate there, and love it!

The shot of you with your hand over your heart sums us all up!
We know the feeling!

I got a new plate too, had to sit in my car until my number was called at DMV and then have my temperature taken before I could go in and pick up my new plate.

Aren't we all glad they stopped using proctological thermometers.
BTW, a Rectal thermometer is more accurate than an oral thermometer.
