Does anyone know the correct paint code for the blue used on some original Spyders? It looks pretty close to the Ford Mustang "Grabber" Blue.

I have collected several pictures of darker blue spyders which do not all look the same. It could be the photos or just old eyes. I believe my Chamonix is painted Corvette blue. Porsche may be able to help you with the correct paint code. Good luck and please post the results of your research.

The color you are looking for is referred to as "French Blue". It is the racing color of French teams. But, like British Racing Green, French Blue made appearances in variations of different shades although always distinctively "French Blue".
Go to Fibersteel.com and click on the gallery (including this picture below). They did a stunning replica in French Blue. Give them a call and ask what the paint color code is. They might help you (they have excellent customer service).
