Went to a very cool auto show at the Pasadena, CA Art Center today. Naturally, I filled my digital camera to the brim. I've posted 72 of the nicer shots.
My advance apologies for those of you on dial-up modems...it's a lot of pictures...but some really beautiful cars. Enjoy.l

All I can say is..... WOW! Did you settle on a favorite? It's hard to pick from the photos, as I am sure the detail stands out in person. But, That slammed Gullwing is pretty righteous, and that siver Jag is sweet. I like the extreme custom lowrider on a visual take... I think that's a Caddy? I saw the one neo-Mini with the logo for Italian Job on the windshield... is that one from the movie? I understand those cars went through a real transformation. Thanks for sharing. Jim Ward
My current fav digital camera is a Nikon Coolpix 775 (now discontinued, I believe). Since most of the digital shots I take are for websites and internet use, as opposed to making large prints, 2 megapixels is plenty of resolution. Remember more megapixels means larger photos, larger files, slower everything.
I think it's still pretty good advice to buy a digital camera made by a company whose business is cameras. That way you know you're getting a decent glass lens.
My favorite at the show? The Gull-Winged Mercedes...just awesome!

Nice pictures John. It's amazing to think of all those cars in the same place at the same time... a car lovers candy store.

My advice for a digital camera is get the smallest one you can find. If it won't fit easily in your pocket, you won't take it with you everywhere you go, which means you won't use it as much as it could be used. I have had 4 different digitals over the years. My current favorite is the Canon S400. Small, light, 4mp.
