I'm a big fan of these new Speedster II's by PGO. They also make a regular Speedster replica based on new chassis from the Brazilian VW beetle plant. The new Speedster II is just fantastic. It has the classic design using very modern techniques. It has a tubular chassis and a hot mid mounted Peugeot engine. This car goes from 0-62mph in 7 sec. I really hope they make it but it's a big risk putting a car like that in production with all the investment needed. They have invested in a new factory, a full-time designer and have gone to the Paris stock exchange. I've put (some of) my money where my mouth is and bought some shares. They have an English version of their website but the videos are in French. www.pgo.fr will tell you all you need to know.
