Does anyone know about these cars? I'm looking to get started in the world of Speedsters and found this listing on eBay. He is located in La Habra, CA and is advertising these cars as being built by Vizard. I can't seem to find anything on Vizard and I haven't been able to get myself to the LA area to check on these. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all the responses. They confirm that my initial concerns may be valid. I figured if Vizard was truly an established vendor somebody here would be able to provide some positive info. Since that didn't happen, I'll go back to my original thought which was to look for a used Vintage car.

If I remember correctly, Vintage seemed to have a better basic structure than the CMC cars. Can anyone tell me which car is claiming that they moved the steering wheel so it's centered on the drivers' seat? Or even more important, has that been an issue for anyone with any of the other manufacturers?

Kudos to all who post here. This site is a valuable resource for finding people in the know. Thanks!!

If you are comparing VW pan based VS to same VW pan based CMC then what's the difference? CMC has a very substantial steel box frame built into the fiberglass body. New VS tubular chassis is just different - lng thread on Forum on which is better so your call there. Heck some like the old VW swing axel over the newer VW IRS so just personal preference.
Scott, spend a lot of time reading old posts on this site. There is a lot of good information. If you read long enough you can really get a good idea of what the various manufacturers strengths and weaknesses are. You are close to a few folks on this forum that would probably give you a first hand look and talk about their cars. It is a good group of people that know these things well. Good luck in your search.
