I picked up my new Vintage Widebody from Vintage Speedsters today. This one has their new 2110 Stroker Motor that they are offering as an option (120hp).
Their motor came with dual Solex's, and wasn't quite up to what I wanted.
I picked-up a pair of IDF 40's and had them installed.
Wow... what a difference.
On the way home I was cruising at 80, and had plenty of throttle left for passing. Yet, it idles smooth, and drives nice on the streets.
So far, I'm delighted with the car/engine combination.
It also has Disk front brakes, 3:88 Trans, and Stinger exhaust.
