HI Guys,

Yes I am still here. I think my original thread got deleted.

I just got my order of the Repro Porsche 547 fans shroud screws for the new 4 Cam fan shroud.

Take a look. These are exact replicas from an original screw. I also offer these to the Porsche 4Cam folks for $5.00 each.

$75.00 in screws... that's almost up into the "Corvette guy" sickness.

I was looking at an article a while back and they actually discuss the very specific shape of the shroud screws on the original 4 cam shroud. Pretty hard to come by. When you're they guy who pays to have them reproduced - you can pretty much name your price.

They sure look beautiful.  Maybe one day...

Thread shift - Not looking to do a  faux engine compartment - just clean up the rusty, gnarly tin screws there.  I got a set (66 pieces with washers) of button head stainless steel screws with hex heads (and allen wrench) from SAMBA dealer in Alabama for $15 shipped - an extra set can be added for another $10.  That's only 23 cents each piece. Price includes shipping.  Won't pass the faux look but gives a clean, finished look for stock engine tins.
