Do yourself a favor and stay away from the replica horn button being offered by James007 on this site, don't know if the people machining these things got it wrong, or was given the wrong specs, but the six mounting holes the 8mm body bolts pass thru are too small (a easy fix on the drill press) but the 6 holes that I just enlarged aren't even close to matching up with the holes in the hub...

I just went out and measured my Nardi set up, your smaller 6 bolt one will work, I assume you will take my cc info for the cost plus shipping ? let me know thanks"-

So, 6 bolt buttons I offer are compatible with momo and many others, like the one I also offer in the listing, but not Nardi, but he confirmed it was going to fit, so I wasn't going to argue with him, I wasn't sure which steering wheel version he had (thinking there are different Nardi)

The instant he sent me a message complaining that these were wrongly machined, I kindly asked him to please send it back for a full refund, so he responded he was going to machine a new ring... I guess he liked my button so much that it was worth fabricating a new ring for it.

I wonder why he is telling people to stay away from my buttons, we never argued nor felt any kind of friction with him... Bad day I guess..

This is supposed to be a friendly site, where we all have a common taste for speedsters, and me offering a handmade horn button solution is not with the intention of scamming people. Today I received a message from another member that received a scratched-marked larger button, I offered him a replacement, but he is willing to try and polish it. That is the friendliness I am talking about... wide body boy told me that refund wasn't necessary, that he was going to machine a new ring... ok, but why go and tell members to stay away from something you actually liked and are keeping?

simply don't understand...

Thank you Lfepardo for illustrating us that there are different bolt patterns, and helping me confirm that the one I offer is the most common.

I told the guy making them I had a nardi wheel, 6 bolt and would it fit ? he "forgot" to pubilicly post the question I asked about fitment, it got sent and didn't fit so I fixed it. Upon offering me the refund which he did, he said he was having some made up next week or so with the nardi bolt pattern, seems to me he knew he didn't have the nardi bolt pattern when he sent it, whatever I thought I'd mention on this forum so somebody else with a Nardi wheel wouldn't get something that didn't bolt on... I was lucky enough a very good friend owns a machine shop, I can't be bothered to waste any more time explaining / answering questions about this for 50 bucks, its not worth it, I got it, made it fit end of story. Also "forgot" to tell me the original ring was plastic but sent me a aluminum one "hope you like it" was in a email to me, I would have never brought this back up but it seems like a lot of times it doesn't go away on its own, I'm happy with it .

I will be making nardi buttons, without ring, just the buttons, never mentioned I will be making buttons with nardi pattern rings... I also have some Banjo button caps ready, will post them soon.

An aluminum ring instead of a plastic one is an obvious upgrade, I thought it would make anyone happier, and not worth delaying shipping an extra day to ask if it would be ok a polished aluminum ring instead of a silver painted plastic one, so I just assumed it would be ok, guess I was wrong.

You’re right, big waste of time for $50 bucks, but it’s important for me to clear this up and don’t give a false idea of me to members.
