Porsche script

I hesitate to ask this question, because I don't want to discuss whose parts are 'better', but I need to buy the front and rear Porsche scripts for a Speedster.

I know all three major suppliers of Speedsters sell the script, as do places such as Tweeks, etc. Are there differences in these, or are they all made by some off-shore supplier? Are there plastic ones and metal ones?

Regarding Scripts, mine looked tired when I first bought my car so I looked into re-gold plating them. I took the car to a shop, and for $85 the lady re plated them right on the car- I didn't have to remove them.
Look into gold plating them, I am very happy with mine--now.
