Just a last minute reminder, tomorrow is the Porsche Swap meet in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Weather report is for sunny skies and a temperature of 76. Quite a difference from the two previous years.
Yes, yes it is. My friend Mike will be there, from Red Hook, NY.
My home town beer, it was better when it was small but that's just my opinion.
Best Swap meet in years, fantastic weather for a change, fewer and fewer 356's however and certainly fewer and fewer bargains. Did sell my chrome 912 wheels and a number of other smaller pieces, before 7AM. Wanted to buy the huge Carrera tome priced at $105.00 dollars, offered the guy $100.00 and he wouldn't take it ! The book must weigh 12 pounds and he had at least 20 of them so I guess he loaded them and took them back to Ohio.
My fried Jim sold all of his stuff also. Saw many of my old friends but sadly I didn't see any fellow SOCers. Carlisle next then Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix.
Chuck, can't believe you had chrome 5x130 rims. I've looking for awhile and most of them are high dollar and high on the rust/pitting scale.
So just tell me they were fantastic and very expensive and I'll feel better.
Sorry Mike, I sold them because they were not the date coding I wanted, slight discoloration on two of them. Included flawless hub caps. They must have been priced right because they sold before 7 AM.
