Anyone else with a 1915cc 40 IDF Dual Carb set up?  Wondering if you have checked fuel pressure from the fuel pump that Vintage installs and what it read and how you fixed.  My car is not coming back to me until this weekend but remember when i sold it that i thought it should have one.  When i asked Vintage then they said the 1915CC motor wont need one.  Thoughts?  I do plan on getting a fuel pressure gauge, etc but was wondering if anyone else has been down this road.

You don't need a permanent gauge. If you have a mechanical pump, set the pressure by stacking gaskets. If electric, buy a self-regulated ROTARY pump. Webers like 3 to 3.5 psi. No more than that.

Use a low pressure/vacuum gauge designed for automotive diagnostics. Tee it into the fuel line temporarily for testing. Like this:

Set it, and forget it. If/when you have a problem, you'll have the gauge. I've never needed my gauge other than to check the pressure on installation of the pump.
