How do you wire the tail light, brake lights and turn signal lights? Ok i did not use a VW harness on the car so i might need to modify something to make this work. I have three wires going to each tail light. turn, brake, and park. I can get the park and turn lights to work at the same time but i can not get the brake, turn and parking lights to work at the same time. Someone please tell me how this should be wired up. Again i have tried wiring it every way it can be done but no matter what all three things cant be used at the same time.

Thanks
Mike

Ok; the brake lights are all by them self, on a single pin bulb. they don't normally tie in to the other systems In fact all the true early cars only had a three wire turn switch. The turm signals, and the driving lights will hook to the double pin bulb. Remember The briter fillement when lit is always the turn. I strongly recemmend putting grounds on at least two of the studs that hold the light fixture to the car!!!
There is a trick you can pull by adding two relays on the turn wires at he back of the car you can make the correct brake light blink with the turns. If you ground the relay wrong the the two bulbs in the taillight will wigwag flash. It aint pretty!
