I have a cmc widebody and was thinking about changing my seeping pushrod  tubes and seals, they aren't bad but looking for something to do. Do I have to pull the engine or is there enough room to slide the pushrods out ? and are the adj ones any good, spring loaded or stock, and any seals better then others ? thanks Darrell

You just need to remove the bales covering the valve adjustments, remove the rockers, slide out the pushrods, remove the pushrod tubes, insert the spring loaded JayCee tubes, and reassemble. It doesn't take very long. If I remember correctly start the installation of the tubes with the pushrod tube closest to the front of the car.

I wrote this when I replaced mine:

The old tubes won't slide out. You have to basically destroy the old ones to remove them. Make sure that you use the silicone seals(should come with the new tubes) and install them dry no matter what any shade-tree "mechanic" says. I've installed MANY sets, and they don't leak if they are both installed dry and seated properly.
